Year 2009 was indeed a fruitful year for SHINee as they gained lots of popularity worldwide with their hit songs "Juliette", "Ring Ding Dong" and "Jojo". Not only that, they had reaped a few awards from Golden Disk Awards 2009 (GD Samsung Yepp Popularity Award), 16th Republic of Korea Entertainment Arts Awards (Best Male Group Award), 19th Seoul Music Awards: Bonsang Award, etc."Stand By Me" and "Ring Ding Dong" were also ranked #35 and #90 respectively in Cyworld Music Yearly Chart 2009. Despite the tough competition with other groups like 2NE1, SNSD, Super Junior, 2PM, and other American singers, it was indeed marvelous to have 2 songs out of the 100 songs being placed on the charts.
Let's all give SHINee a round of applause for their wonderful well-done job in 2009 and hope they continue to produce even higher flying colours in year 2010!
