Members of popular idol groups who were born in 1990 met Coming of Age Day on the 17th and shared their feelings on having become ‘real adults.’
5-member male idol group SHINee’s Jonghyun said to Money Today Star News “I think that nothing in particular has changed and things are the same as before,” but also revealed “Being in a team where I have become an adult before the other members, with the exception of Onew hyung, I get the feeling that I have become a grown-up,” and expressed “I want to become a really impressive adult.”
In regards to goals for his twenties, “The first thing I wanted to do when I entered my 20s is get my driver’s license,” and said “I want to personally drive to the places I’ve wanted to go to.”
Jonghyun said in addition, “There are many things that I want to do in my twenties but I want to give them a little more thought, and then one by one I want to strive towards my goals and achieve them through effort.”
He chose a family vacation as the present he wanted most for Coming of Age Day.
Jonghyun commented “I haven’t particularly thought about what present I want to receive,” but also said “Rather than a present, there is something I want to do, which is going on a family vacation, I think a family vacation would be the best present.”
